for paved paths, wide lawns, flanked on one side by the Don River, trees and bush and on the other side by… more trees and bush!

We’re pleased to have the Toronto Olympic Club partner with us and hope to benefit TOC and its kids’ coaching programs with awareness and more.

Melanie on path v.2Along the race routes are tree plantings, commemorative trees and monuments, the back of the Science Centre, an 18-target disc golf game and maybe even a critter or two (deer are common – check our deer medal under “Race Info”!). And those running the 10k and 15k will get close to the giant ‘molars’ by the DVP. You’ll never see teeth THIS big anywhere else!  (okay, they’re really elevated wetland structures but they LOOK like giant teeth).

Small Town Shopping in the Big City

One of the more pleasant shopping areas in Toronto gives you the feel of being in a small town. People are usually surprised at the offering of products and services on Bayview Avenue south of Eglinton. Find out for yourself.  The Spring Fling is a happy supporter of the Bayview-Leaside shopping area.
